Linux only Occupies a 1.4 % market share in the overall market share of Desktop Operating Systems in 2020. However, If you consider the overall market Share of Operating systems Then Linux is every were and plays a significant role. Linux is an Operating system that we use daily in our day to day lives but doesn't make not of it. Linux may be running on your social app servers, Household IoT Devices, your smart Android mobile phones, Smartwatches, etc.
Though There are many geek Linux users who don’t accept Android as Linux, at the end of the day it was built on Linux kernel technically meaning it is Linux.
